Dual Academic and Professional Qualifications with the Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB)

The HKIB may award the “Advanced Diploma for Certified Banker” and “Professional Diploma for Certified Banker” to graduates of our BA (Hons) in Economics and Finance Programme upon the successful completion of two designated electives from our Department.

CFA University Affiliation Program

Our BA (Hons) in Economics and Finance degree Programme has been accepted into the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program. This status is granted to academic institutions whose degree programmes embed at least 70% of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK) providing students with a solid grounding in the CBOK and positioning them to sit for the CFA examinations.The students are also eligible for a CFA level I examination scholarship.

Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)

The E&F program is recognized by Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Graduates with one-year relevant working experience are eligible to apply for and become an Associate Member (AssocRICS). Alternatively, they may pursue further study for an accredited degree, receive 1-2 years structured training, sit for RICS assessment and subsequently become a chartered surveyor.

Graduates of our BCom (Hons) in Financial Technology are eligible to gain exemptions on modules 1, 2 and 4 of the Enhanced Competency Framework on Financial Technology (ECF-Fintech)
