Career Prospects
The BA (Hons) in Economics and Finance programme and the BCom (Hons) in FinTech programme are intended to prepare our graduates to work in a wide range of professions, including finance, banking, insurance, investment, information technology, financial technology, data analysis, computer programming, civil service, management and commerce.
Graduates of the economics and finance programme were mostly employed in banking, finance, investment, education, marketing, administration and management sectors. Those who are well-versed in quantitative economics and finance can start their career as research economists, financial analysts, or economic strategists, in public or private sectors.
According to the Graduate Employment Survey, the average monthly income of our employed graduates in 2022 is $16,501.
