The BA (Hons) in Economics and Finance programme and the BCom (Hons) in FinTech progarmme are intended to prepare our graduates to pursue Master's degree programmes in the subject areas such as economics, finance, banking, business administration, information technology, data science, computer science, machine learning and artificial intelligence, or graduate studies in a broad spectrum of disciplines

Pathways to graduate education taken by our alumni include studies at:

  • UGC funded universities in Hong Kong (e.g., HKU, CUHK, HKUST, etc.)
  • universities in overseas countries (e.g., Cornell University, University of Warwick, University of Birmingham, University of Manchester, etc.)
  • universities in China (e.g., Peking University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, The Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, etc.)
  • Hong Kong Shue Yan University 
The Graduate School of Hong Kong Shue Yan University was established in 2017. Since 2010, the School has been offering quality accredited postgraduate programmes in the disciplines of Chinese, English, History, Business, Economics, Counselling & Psychology and Sociology. Currently, there are 6 taught and 12 research postgraduate programmes being offered. It is the University’s objective to cultivate graduates who demonstrate a strong level of intellectual curiosity, boldness in critical thinking, a deep commitment to their discipline, and an ambition to excel in their field. A unique feature of these programmes is the interdisciplinary approach so that graduates are not only highly knowledgeable in their area of expertise but are also capable of making connections with other related fields.
