Dr. Philip Lee, our Assistant Professor of the Department of Economics and Finance and Associate Director of the Teaching and Learning Development Office, was invited to attend Dive In 2024, organized by Chartered Insurance Institute Hong Kong, on September 24. He participated as one of the panelists discussing the topic "Ways to Mitigate Challenges of a Multi-Generational Workforce".
During the panel discussion, Dr. Lee shared his experience of teaching both elderly individuals and undergraduate students in his course FINT200 Fundamentals of FinTech Computing. He highlighted the precious opportunity, coordinated by Elderly Academy, for knowledge exchange and experience sharing between the retired and the young generation in a classroom setting. Along with the other panelists, Dr. Lee emphasized communication and mutual respect as key factors for success in a multi-generational workforce.
