Five students from the Department of Economics and Finance participated the Personal Finance Ambassador Programme, sponsored by HKEX Foundation and co-organized by Investor and Financial Education Council (IFEC) together with St. James’ Settlement. The Programme aims to strengthen the financial literacy of tertiary students and raise their awareness of good financial management. Our students formed a team “Career Goal Hunter” and launched seven workshops in the campus during October – December 2025. At the Presentation and Award Ceremony on 17 January 2026, the team showcased their efforts to promote financial literacy through engaging activities. The judges were impressed by the team's creativity in organizing these interesting events, which highlighted the effectiveness of their approach. Consequently, the team was awarded a Bronze Award.

At last, efforts by Dr. Vivian Wang (Department of Accountancy), Dr. Edward Tang, Dr. Philip Lee (Department of Economics and Finance) and Office of Student Affairs are greatly appreciated. Their invaluable contributions have been vital to students’ success.
