Dr. Yeung Wai-man Raymond participated in the "Art for Peace: High-level International Symposium on Politics, Economics, Art and Culture."
Dr. Yeung Wai-man Raymond, an Assistant Professor of Economics and Finance, participated as an Executive Committee Member and Honorary Secretary of the Hong Kong Society of Asia and Pacific Twenty-one (AP21) at the High-Level International Symposium on Art for Peace: Politics, Economics, Art, and Culture. This event took place in Penang, Malaysia, on December 14, 2025.
The symposium attracted participants from diverse fields, including former Director-General of UNESCO Irina Bokova, former Prime Minister of France Jean-Pierre Raffarin, French Diplomat Yves Marek, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brazil Antonio Patriota, former Japanese Ambassador to the United Nations Motohide Yoshikawa, the Chairperson of the "Peace Leaders" Donia Kaouach, and the former Chief Minister of Penang Dr. Koh Tsu Koon. Additionally, internationally renowned artist Professor Lin Xiang Xiong and scholars, artists, and art critics from different countries attended.
The symposium focused on how political and economic governance, along with artistic creation, can foster social peace in the current international political climate. Approximately 300 attendees engaged in dynamic discussions and attended the opening ceremony of the Lin Xiang Xiong Art Museum, where they viewed works by Professor Lin that expressed his concern for humanity and his advocacy for peace.

經濟及金融學系助理教授楊偉文博士以香港亞太二十一學會(Hong Kong Society of Asia and Pacific Twenty-one，AP21) 執行委員和名譽秘書，出席了2025年12月14日在馬來西亞檳城舉行的藝術促進和平：政治、經濟、藝術與文化高端國際研討會。研討會的與會者來自各界，包括聯合國教科文組織前總幹事 Irina Bokova、法國前總理 Jean-Pierre Raffarin、法國外交官 Yves Marek、巴西前外交部長 Antonio Patriota和日本前常駐聯合國大使 吉川元偉大使、非政府組織「和平領袖」主席 Donia Kaouach，檳城前首席部長許子根博士，國際著名術藝家林祥雄教授及來自不同國家的學者、著名藝術家和藝術評論家等。
研討會環繞著當今國際政治環境如何通過政經治理和文藝創作帶來社會和平，出席研討會約300人，進行熱烈討論，並參與林祥雄美術館開幕典禮，觀賞林祥雄教授創作帶出對人類關懷和和平倡議。
