Dr. Philip Lee, Assistant Professor of the Department of Economics and Finance and Associate Director of the Teaching and Learning Development Office, recently participated in an exclusive webinar organized by the Education Bureau (EDB) on April 10, 2025. The webinar attracted over 200 registered participants, predominantly secondary school teachers in Hong Kong.
During the event, Dr. Lee discussed the connection between personality traits and investment behaviors. He presented findings from his research project focused on developing a test designed to uncover hidden investment behavioral biases, using the Big-5 model of personality traits. The research project was sponsored by the Investor and Financial Education Council (IFEC). As part of this initiative, Dr. Philip Lee collaborated with the IFEC to develop an online gamified platform for the test, which served as a key deliverable of the project.
