Dr. Philip Lee, the Associate Director of TLDO and the Associate Head of Department of Economics and Finance, recently collaborated with Microsoft to organize a seminar titled “Empowering Young Talents with Future-ready Skills,” delivered by Ms. Echo Tse, Skills Lead at Microsoft Hong Kong Education, on 9th October 2025. The event was attended by more than 70 students.

During the seminar, Ms. Echo Tse discussed current trends of AI in business and finance, as well as learning resources and certifications offered by Microsoft. She also shared details about the Microsoft Hong Kong Student Ambassador Program and encouraged students to participate.

Dr. Philip Lee felt rewarded seeing many FinTech and E&F students enthusiastic about the program, with many already beginning their applications immediately after the seminar. He emphasized that our university will continue to work closely with Microsoft to promote new initiatives aimed at empowering future leaders in AI and technology.
